[Even with their last odd letter exchange, Eddie still finds himself leaving something in Waspfire's mailbox. Two bottles of beer from the sacred beer tree, a note is attached to the neck of one bottle.]

I finally got around to wishing for the beer tree I've been talking bout forever.

Figured you'd want first dibs on some sacred beer. Hope you like the booze.

[Waspfire actually sticks the beer in the fridge and just kind of glances doubtfully at it a few times a day for a couple days; she's still annoyed enough at Eddie that she's not entirely sure how to interpret the gesture.

Ultimately, though, she likes Eddie, and whatever's going on with him she does trust his judgement when it comes to drinkables. So she pops one of the bottles open while she pens a reply.]

From what ren faires I've been too, the mead was very rich and syrupy. Sweet obviously thanks to the honey, but not over the top. Adding fruit will mix it up though, depending on your preferences of course. Try experimenting with fruit you have and see what works with it.

Also depends usually on the honey crop of the last year but, not exactly an issue here. No one is killing bees willy nilly.
