D() y()u have any idea what mead is supposed t() taste like? I've g()t a batch g()ing that sh()uld be ready t() drink in a c()uple weeks, and it's far en()ugh ()utside my previ()us experience that I'd appreciate a sec()nd ()pini()n ()n the taste test when it's ready

From what ren faires I've been too, the mead was very rich and syrupy. Sweet obviously thanks to the honey, but not over the top. Adding fruit will mix it up though, depending on your preferences of course. Try experimenting with fruit you have and see what works with it.
Also depends usually on the honey crop of the last year but, not exactly an issue here. No one is killing bees willy nilly.
